Nominations and Applications
The NAE Board of Directors has been preparing for this transition for several years through a detailed presidential succession plan. In 2018, Leith Anderson, current NAE President, announced his retirement at the conclusion of his term in 2019. A search team, composed of board members, has been established and is facilitating a careful search process on behalf of the NAE Board of Directors. A press release on the launch of the presidential search is available here.
The search team welcomes and encourages both nominations and applications for the position. All nominations and applications will be treated with confidentiality and discretion.
Nominations and applications will be accepted from February 1, 2019–March 4, 2019. (Nominations and applications submitted after this date may not be fully reviewed or considered.)
