The NAE Talk is a private forum for high-level evangelical leaders to discuss pressing issues. This invitation-only event focuses on equipping pastors and church leaders to wisely and winsomely navigate the practical challenges they face as they minister in today’s culture.
Many Americans are often confused, afraid and lack a basic understanding of Muslims and the Islamic faith. American Muslims often face discrimination and live in fear of bias, leading them to isolation. Evangelicals find it difficult to connect with their Muslim neighbors and share their faith. Recent research shows that most Christians do not know a Muslim.
The purpose of this NAE Talk is to learn from those who have studied Islam and worked with Muslims in the United States and abroad. As evangelicals better understand Islam, we can do more to love our Muslim neighbors and minister to those in our communities.
The NAE Talk will be a great opportunity to:
- Learn from leading experts who will help you consider the related practical and pastoral opportunities;
- Interact confidentially with leaders who are navigating these issues in their unique places of service; and
- Go home saying: “That was a really good idea,” “Wow, I never thought about that before,” “This is a positive approach,” and “I have a lot to share with my colleagues on what we can do.”
