Supreme Court Rules on Cross Case
On April 28, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that a Latin cross World War I memorial may remain for now on private land inside the Mojave National Preserve. The Supreme Court sent the case back to a lower court to reassess its challenge to congressional action, which exchanged the public land around the cross memorial for a similar plot of land elsewhere in the desert.

The National Association of Evangelicals will hold a forum titled "Respecting Sex and Reducing Abortions—What Can Churches Really Do?" on Thursday, May 20 in Wheaton, Ill. Stanton Jones, provost of Wheaton College, will keynote the forum. The forum will also showcase a distinguished panel of experts to discuss how evangelical churches can practically bring down the number of abortions in their congregations and communities and foster an environment where sex is respected and life is cherished.
